My passion for education ignited in the 5th grade, thanks to the inspiring influence of my teacher, Mr. B. Since the summer of 2010, I have been proudly serving the students and families of BCSC as a math facilitator, counselor, and school leader.

Fourteen years ago, as I finished my degree at the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!), I knew my goal was to create impactful learning experiences beyond the classroom. My first interview with CSA confirmed it was a special place, setting the foundation for my career. Within two years, I became a certified teacher and trainer in NTN and ML, committed to building the best learning environment for my students and sharing my passion with educators nationwide.

After eight years teaching math, I became a counselor at CSA New Tech, gaining invaluable leadership experience. This led to my role directing Columbus Virtual Pathway three years ago, allowing me to further develop my leadership skills and impact the district.

I believe in transformational leadership, focusing on building capacity and motivating my team to lead change. I empower educators, shielding them from external pressures, so they can excel. While I can’t reach every student alone, together, we can make a lasting impact on every student.

When I'm not working with students, I enjoy spending time with my partner Shelby and our two dogs, Islay (eye-lah) and Mya. You'll often find us outdoors, reading, listening to live music, or cheering on Wisconsin sports teams.

I’m thrilled to return to CSA New Tech, my dream, and home, to lead the next chapter of innovation and excellence. I’m dedicated to ensuring passionate educators can extend their impact beyond the classroom, collaborating with other leaders to create a public school system offering deep, meaningful learning opportunities for every student.
